Honourable Dr. Fitzgerald,
It makes me and many others like me really sad to read that the Republic of Ireland has taken an decision to withdraw the Charitable Status accorded to the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (Ireland) ltd.

As you are aware, the ISKCON is an organisation which preachers love and brotherhood between man and man. You will agree that in the present strife-torn world we really need to promote goodwill, peace, harmony, tolerance and love.

I am emboldened to write to you this personal letter in view of the very close ties which have existed for generations between India and Ireland.

May I request you to take personal interest in the matter of re-establishment of the Charitable Status to the ISKCON and further the cause of Peace on Earth.
